Cancer-stricken Tom Parker poses for heartwarming selfie with wife Kelsey and their baby son Bodhi

Tom Parker shared a snap of himself posing with his wife Kelsey Hardwick and their baby son Bodhi, as they soaked up the sunshine in their garden on Friday.

The Wanted star, 32, who is battling a terminal brain tumour, looked relaxed and happy as he smiled alongside his wife, who cupped his face while holding their son.

Captioning the image, which showed him wearing a brown hoodie and tortoiseshell sunglasses, Tom wrote: ‘Getting some lovely vitamin D in the garden.’

Kelsey complemented her husband’s casual spring look with a cobalt blue cable knit sweater, while she also sported a pair of stylish sunglasses.

On Monday, Tom shared a snap of himself enjoying some quality time with his baby son Bodhi as they snuggled on the sofa.

The musician had his little one, four months – who was wearing an adorable blue elephant onesie – propped up on his chest as he gazed lovingly at him.

Tom’s sweet snapshot comes as he continues to battle a terminal brain tumour after being diagnosed with a stage 4 glioblastoma in September 2020.

Tom, who is currently receiving chemotherapy and radiotherapy, has confirmed that he is ‘responding well’ to treatment and his tumour has shrunk ‘significantly’.

The Glad You Came hitmaker is a father-of-two to daughter Aurelia, 16 months, and son Bodhi, and shares his young children with wife Kelsey, 30.

Kelsey recently revealed the couple’s children are too young to understand ‘how ill their dad actually is’.

Speaking during an appearance on Loose Women earlier this month, she said: ‘I just think that they don’t really know that daddy is ill at the moment.

‘When Tom goes off to treatment, he’s off or he’s going to work or wherever he’s going.

‘So to them, they don’t really know how ill their dad actually is. They’re doing so well, the kids. We’re all doing really well.’

Despite Tom’s shock diagnosis, Kelsey said he is doing ‘really well’ after the family were thrilled to learn the tumour had ‘significantly reduced’ in January.

She explained : ‘Tom’s doing really well. We had a meeting last Thursday and he’s just had another stable scan, so he’s doing so well.

‘We’ve only just started our second round [of chemotherapy], so we’ve had radio and chemo, we’ve had a bit of a break, because he had a bit of a dodgy liver, and now we’ve just started the second round of chemo.

‘The tumour has shrunk, we’ve had a significant reduction. We were all just in tears when we got that news in January.

‘We just couldn’t believe it, that he’d had radio and chemo and he’s had a significant reduction after that. We were just all so overwhelmed.’

The singer has tried various methods to help with his recovery since he was diagnosed, including a vegan diet, which he has subsequently ditched.

Earlier this month, the doting father revealed he had invested in a £2,500 tap from the United States to deliver alkaline water in a bid to help his cancer.

The star explained he had the special tap fitted to his kitchen by a plumber friend.

Alkaline water has a higher pH level than regular drinking water and because of this, some advocates of alkaline water believe it can neutralise the acid in your body.

Some claim Alkaline water has benefits for people with cancer and for cancer prevention, because it’s thought that some cancer cells grow better in acidic environments.

Last month, Tom shared a video of himself receiving treatment in hospital.

Putting on a brave face, the boyband star said: ‘All hooked up’ before poking fun at his tomato soup served in a mug as he asked his fans to comment on the table wear.

In January, the singer, who is classed as extremely vulnerable after being diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour, revealed he had received his first Covid jab.

Tom urged his 212K followers to ‘just get it done so we can move on with our lives.’

That same month Tom updated fans on his progress in a lengthy post announcing a reduction in the size of his tumour.

Sharing a throwback snap of himself, Kelsey and their children, he wrote: ‘SIGNIFICANT REDUCTION These are the words I received today and I can’t stop saying them over and over again.

‘I had an MRI scan on Tuesday and my results today were a significant reduction to the tumour and I am responding well to treatment. Everyday I’m keeping on the fight to shrink this b*****d!

‘I can’t thank our wonderful NHS enough. You’re all having a tough time out there but we appreciate the work you are all doing on the front line.’

‘To my amazing wife @being_kelsey who has literally been my rock. My babies – I fight for you every second of every day.

‘Friends, family and everyone on this journey with me- you have got me through my darkest days.

‘To everyone on here- your love, light and positivity have inspired me. Every message has not been unnoticed they have given me so much strength.

‘This journey is a rollercoaster that’s for sure. Today is a f*****g good day.’

Tom has admitted his world was turned ‘upside down’ after he was told he had a stage four brain tumour in September.
