GMB’s Susanna Reid and Kate Garraway cut to Lorraine Kelly but she is nowhere to be seen 

Susanna Reid and Kate Garraway were left confused on Thursday’s Good Morning Britain as they tried to cut to Lorraine Kelly but she was nowhere to be seen.

The co-hosts told viewers they would be speaking to Lorraine to preview what was coming up on her chat show at 9am.

But it appeared Lorraine wasn’t quite ready for them as the song UK Hun from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK started playing while Lorraine could be heard speaking to a member of her crew.

Looking confused, Susanna said: ‘Where is she? Where is Lorraine?’

A moment later, Lorraine popped up on screen, with Kate joking: ‘Lorraine is that how you occupy you’re time while we’re on?’ 

Explaining the music, Lorraine said she would be doing a RuPaul’s Drag Race UK quiz on her chat show ahead of the show’s final on Thursday evening.

She told Susanna and Kate: ‘We’ve got a really naughty quiz coming up! I’m so sorry!’

It comes after Lorraine recently revealed she nearly got a tattoo on her rear to mark her 60th birthday two years ago.

The chat show host, who turned 61 last November, told Ross King she’s still considering getting ‘something naughty’ inked on her bottom.

Ross asked her: ‘You don’t have any tattoos or anything to hide? No sleeves or anything?’

Lorraine replied: ‘No, I haven’t got any tattoos. I was going to for my 60th, I was going to get one on my bottom but I couldn’t decide what – maybe some planets?

‘I don’t know, something naughty because nobody would see it apart from [husband] Steve. I might still get it, why not?’ 

Ross suggested she have a giant ’60’ inked on her derrière.

When she did turn 60 in 2019, Lorraine rang in the occasion by jetting to Florida to try her hand at astronaut training.
