Devon Windsor shares moment she discovered she was pregnant and surprised husband Johnny Barbara

Devon Windsor has shared the heartwarming moment she discovered she was pregnant and told her husband Johnny Barbara.

The model, 27, filmed herself taking two pregnancy tests and then surprised Johnny by giving him a baby grow she had bought months before for when she would become pregnant.

In the video, Devon took one positive test and then quickly took another which also said she was pregnant.

Speaking to the camera, she said: ‘I just peed on the stick and I have a good feeling about it. My heart is literally beating out of my chest. I’m so nervous right now. I know you’re supposed to wait a few minutes.’ 

When she saw the positive tests, she added: ‘No f*****g way. Is this real life? I’m shaking I don’t know how to process this. I can’t wait to tell Johnny.’

The Victoria’s Secret model spoke to her fans alongside Johnny in the video and said: ‘I was freaking out. I knew I wanted to tell him in a fun way. 

‘I bought a onesie months ago. I was thinking, whenever I’m pregnant, I’ll give him this onesie. I put it in a little box and I’m waiting for him.’

Devon then showed viewers the moment she gave Johnny the baby grow and he wrapped her in his arms.

However, the businessman insisted he thought Devon might be pregnant before she told him as the pair had been trying for several months.

He said: ‘She’s been doing all these tests lately,’ to which Devon added: ‘I wasn’t doing pregnancy tests, they were ovulation strips.’

Johnny said: ‘I figured when she said she had a gift, I figured it was a baby.’

Devon admitted she was surprised she didn’t cry when she discovered she was set to become a mother.

She said: ‘I honestly thought I’d be the kind of person when they find out they start balling crying but I was in just such shock. 

‘It took us like, five to six months to get pregnant, I had no expectations. I was very surprised. I called my doctor to do all these blood tests to confirm.’

The model added that she had a ‘feeling’ she may be pregnant after returning home from a new year’s holiday in the Bahamas.

She explained: ‘I was just home for Christmas vacation and in the Bahamas for new year’s. We came home from our new year’s trip and I got a really strong feeling.

‘I don’t know why, I’m not the kind of person who tests all the time. I don’t know why I decided to test this time but I had a feeling.

‘We are pregnant! I have wanted to be a mom my whole life. I am so excited to be a mom and he’s so excited to be a dad.’

Devon announced her pregnancy earlier this month when she took to Instagram to share two black and white snaps of her blossoming baby bump and ultrasound scan.

Devon wrote in the caption: ‘Mom & Dad. I’m pregnant!! Johnny and I are so excited to finally share the news with you guys! 

‘I have dreamt of being a mama my whole life. We are so grateful for this little angel in my belly, and are so excited for this new chapter in our lives!

‘Sending extra love and light to the mamas out there who are trying to conceive. I am hopeful your miracles are around the corner!’ 

Devon wed Johnny – co-owner of fashion label Alexis – at St Bartholomew’s Anglican Church on the Caribbean island of St Barths on November 16 2019.
