Lena Headey heads out for a ride on her electric motorbike on the streets of Los Angeles

Lena Headey took a ride around Los Angleles on a brand new motorbike on Tuesday afternoon.

The 47-year-old actress was all smiles while taking her new Super73 electric motorbike out for a spin.

The Game of Thrones star also used her social media platform to speak out against the killings of eight people in Atlanta, six of whom have been confirmed to be Asian. 

The actress was spotted wearing a comfy white t-shirt with a photo of Sitting Bull’s face printed on it as she went on a ride.

Her auburn hair was flowing in the wind as she rode with baggy wide-legged blue jeans and chunky black boots.

She was also seen wearing a thin bracelet over her left wrist as she wrote the electric motorbike around the city.

After her motorbike ride, she took to her Instagram on Tuesday night to speak out about the killings in Atlanta.

‘I’m just fkin angry. I’m angry about greed and guns,’ the actress began, adding the #StopGunViolenceNow hashtag.

‘I’m angry and fkin sad when we live such privileged lives and still fall so short of simple humanity, of empathy, of compassion, of equality, of love,’ she continued.

‘Simple fkin love for our brothers and sisters in this world,’ the actress concluded  in her caption.

She also shared an illustration of what has become a trending topic – #StopAAPIHate  which stands for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.

The #StopAAPIHate and #StopAsianHate hashtags were trending after eight people were killed in three separate massage parlors in Atlanta, with the suspected shooter now in custody.

Headey has a busy year ahead of her, with films like Twist and Gunpowder Milkshake slated to debut.

She also voices Evil-Lyn in Netflix’s highly-anticipated Masters of the Universe: Revelation, also expected to debut this year.

The actress also stars in Crooks with Juno Temple, which is in pre-production, and Gypsy Moon with Sam Worthington, now in post-production.
