Duncan Bannatyne was enjoying the luxuries of a state free of Covid restrictions on Tuesday, as he celebrated his wife Nigora’s 41st birthday in Miami.
While much of the UK is still gripped by restrictions, the entrepreneur, 72, shared a slew of videos on Instagram Stories of a packed restaurant in Miami, stating that ‘countries deal with the virus in different ways.’
Duncan had previously defended the Florida government’s decision to relax all of their Covid restrictions as case numbers continued to fall, urging UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson to restart the economy by allowing businesses to open.

Duncan shared a slew of videos from the Carbone Miami restaurant with wife Nigora of the eatery packed with visitors.
The Dragon’s Den star applied to imply he understood the state’s approach in lifting their coronavirus restrictions, writing: ‘Some countries are dealing with Covid in different ways.’
Another video showed the businessman showing off his hilarious dance moves while enjoying the meal with his wife, who tucked into a plate of cheese cake for the celebration.

Florida opted to pursue one of the most aggressive reopening plans in the United States, and no longer has a mask mandate as Covid cases continue to fall.
In recent weeks, swathes of maskless spring breakers have flocked to packed bars and beaches and Governor Ron DeSantis has urged people to visit the state to get its economy back up and running.
18.5 percent of Floridians have received at least one dose of COVID vaccine, and 10 percent are now fully vaccinated, according to CDC data.

Duncan, who spent much of last year’s lockdown at his £5 million villa in Portugal, has been vocal about the UK government’s need to re-open businesses after more than two months in its third lockdown.
Last month he tweeted: ‘I am in Miami. Restaurants, bars, hotels gyms are all open. Neither death rate nor infection rate is much higher than the UK (actually it might be lower) why is UK in lockdown?’
On Monday Duncan also confirmed he’d had his second Covid vaccination, and shared a video of the moment he received the jab.

Speaking to This Morning shortly after exchanging vows, the billionaire businessman didn’t rule out the possibility of having more children.
‘We’ll be planning the future family,’ he said. ‘I would like to have at least two boys. I cant wait to be a dad again.’
Nigora also conveyed why she wants to expand her family with Duncan, adding: ‘He’s an amazing father. I’m proud of how he is with my daughter. She adores Duncan and couldn’t ask for better stepfather.
‘He’s going to be an amazing father to my future children.’
Nigora is Duncan’s third wife after previously tying the knot with Gail Brodie and Joanne McCue, in 1987 and 2006 respectively.
Thrice-wed Duncan has four children with Gail and two with Joanna. Uzbekistan-born Nigora is also a parent to daughter Gabrielle from a former relationship.
