Despite the obvious lack of shoes and the temperature in NYC being 8C, the Charlie’s Angels star showed no signs of discomfort as she walked along the concrete street barefoot.

The actress headed out solo and carried a drink before she put in her bag.

Last year, Drew told The Sunday Times’ Style magazine her feet had grown three sizes after the birth of her daughters; Olive, eight, and Frankie, six, and joked my ‘old shoe-loving Carrie Bradshaw days are behind me’.

Drew wore her brown hair down and showcased her flawless complexion by going make-up free for the outing.

Last month, Drew revealed she has never had any work done to her face.

‘I know myself. I’m a highly addictive person, Ross,’ she explained on her show.

‘And I do one injection and I’m going to look like Jocelyn Wildenstein by Friday.’

Explaining her decision to refrain from going under the knife, Drew revealed she was motivated by her rebellion.

‘I think because I’m so rebellious that I saw all of that pressure and I saw all of those women torturing themselves to look a certain way and I thought, “You miserable people.”

‘I just wanted to never be afraid of what life would do to me. I probably went to too many opposite extremes, now I’m boring and safe and healthy.’

However, she hopes society will embrace the ageing process a little more.

‘I would love if there was some way we could let go and give into the ride of life a little bit more. We’re going to age, things are going to go south, and it’s OK, it’s a part of life. I feel more human and more vulnerable every year of my life but I also know how to appreciate every year more and more too. And I’m a little crazy.’

It comes as Drew’s chat show has been renewed for a second season.

The CBS-distributed series has got the green-light for season two after enjoying a noticeable ratings bump at the start of 2021, according to The Hollywood Reporter

Drew, who is also the executive producer of the one-hour show, reflected on the project’s success, saying: ‘We launched this show in a pandemic, which made for a crazy, wonderful journey I never expected.’

The actress recently admitted that working on TV ‘saved’ her from forgetting her identity as an entertainer after stepping back from movies following the birth of her kids.

Talking to Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM show last week, she said she needed to find a balance between her family and her talent.

The mother-of-two said: ‘I was so knee deep into mothering my kids. I was like, “I don’t know who I am anymore.” I think I went way too far the opposite direction [after leaving film.]’

‘If I can’t remember that I’m an individual with a skill set, I might die,’ she went on, explaining how she came to work on Netflix’s Santa Clarita Diet for three seasons.

‘That show was the greatest thing that could have ever happened to me,’ Drew later went on.

‘It reminded me to not lose the baby with the bath water in that I don’t want to be filming all the time because I want to raise my kids. It’s like you are this person don’t ditch who you are for your kids. I think that’s a recipe for disaster and parenting.’
