Victoria Beckham wishes Eva Longoria a Happy 46th Birthday in a series of stunning throwback snaps

They became inseparable when the Beckhams moved to Los Angeles in 2007. 

And Victoria Beckham, 46, couldn’t wait to wish her bestie Eva Longoria a happy 46th birthday with a series of stunning throwback snaps on Monday.  

The fashion designer gushed on Instagram: ‘Happy Birthday to the wonderful Eva Longoria! So lucky to have you in my life. We love and miss you so much and can’t wait to see you soon.’ 

In the series of throwback birthday snaps, the pair looked stunning as they posed with their legs in the air before a black tie event.  

Eva previously told the Daily Mail Australia: ‘We’re best friends and have shared lots of life lessons together,

‘What we talk about is between us but we’ve been through stuff together. When we hang out, we just stay home and talk, eat and laugh.’  

And the duo’s bond is so close that the former Desperate Housewives actress is godmother to Victoria’s nine-year-old daughter Harper. 

As part of the touching birthday tribute, Victoria included a snap of her lacing up Eva’s dress at her wedding to José Baston in 2016. 

Utilising her bestie’s fashion skills, Eva had commissioned the Spice Girl to design the stunning custom gown.  

Revealing the reason behind the decision to Hello! magazine, the actress touchingly said: ‘I asked Victoria to do my dress because I wanted it to be special and made with love – and I knew Victoria would make it with love.  

‘She was the best, sweetest person to have there on this day… she’s one of my best friends so for her to be there was so special.’ 

Despite being oceans apart during lockdown, Eva and Victoria have kept up their girl time with regular video calls. 

Eva told OK! Magazine: ‘We speak all the time, we’ve had wine o’clock Zooms, even though it’s hard because of the time difference.’

The actress added that she’s actually spent more time getting in contact with good friends than she did before lockdown because she misses them more. 

‘I’ve actually done more connecting with my good friends than I did before. I guess this has been a great thing in terms of the way it has affected my friendships,

‘Now we actually make time for each other because we miss each other so much,’ she explained.

Eva has been isolating with her husband José and their son, Santiago, two, in Los Angeles while Victoria, her husband David and their four children are in the Cotswolds, UK.
