Married At First Sight intruder couple Liam Cooper and Georgia Fairweather spark split rumours as they speak to Today Extra from different states

Liam Cooper and Georgia Fairweather only tied the knot on Monday night’s episode of Married At First Sight.

But the couple’s first breakfast TV appearance has sparked rumours they’ve called it quits since exchanging vows.

The pair appeared live on Today Extra on Tuesday morning, but they both Zoomed in from different states, which suggests they’re not living together.

Apart: Married At First Sight intruder couple Liam Cooper (pictured) and Georgia Fairweather sparked split rumours on Tuesday while speaking to Today Extra from different states

Despite the fact they both hail from Queensland, prison case officer Liam, 29, was speaking from the Southern Highlands in New South Wales.

Meanwhile, model Georgia, 25, was broadcasting from Nine’s Brisbane studio.

The couple spoke to Today Extra hosts David Campbell and Belinda Russell about how Liam had addressed his bisexuality in front of guests at their reception.

Liam said he wished he hadn’t disclosed his sexuality in such a public setting.

‘Now looking back at it I wish I would’ve been able to talk to Georgia – just me and her – instead of having the whole group to come out that way,’ he said.

‘I’m a big believer in we shouldn’t have to have labels. Heterosexual people don’t have to come out so why do anyone from the LGBTIQ community have to come out?’

At one stage, Georgia, who loves the colour pink, was asked how the couple would decorate their home if they ‘last’ in the experiment.

‘I’m happy for Georgia to have a pink room and she can hang out in there, but I feel like the whole house should not be pink,’ Liam said.

Married At First Sight continues Tuesday at 7:30pm on Channel Nine
