Heavily pregnant Steph Claire Smith goes makeup free as she reveals she had a ‘panic attack’ while preparing to welcome her first child

Steph Claire Smith has been sharing stunning pregnancy photos on Instagram as she prepares to welcome her first child with husband Josh Miller.

But on Tuesday, the fitness entrepreneur was honest with her fans and told them she’d experienced an ’emotional breakdown’ which she compared to a panic attack.

The 25-year-old shared a makeup-free selfie along with a lengthy caption in which she discussed about her mental state.

‘My emotions are heightened’: Heavily pregnant Steph Claire Smith went makeup free as she discussed experiencing a ‘panic attack. The 25-year-old wrote in an Instagram post on Tuesday: ‘Last night I had a complete emotional breakdown, felt like a panic attack’ 

She began: ‘So many highs right now in life that I’m incredibly grateful for – but remember my [Instagram] feed, and even my Stories, are a highlight reel. 

‘Last night I had a complete emotional breakdown, felt like a panic attack. My emotions are heightened right now but there is also a s**t load on.’

Steph continued: ‘As I was writing in my journal to try and “wind down” after crying so much I literally wrote, “I don’t even want to write out everything that’s going through my head right now.”‘

Steph explained she wasn’t sharing her experience to gain pity from her followers. 

Rather, the expectant mother said: ‘I just wanted to remind you all (especially because my feed has been so bright and bubbly lately) that everyone has their s**t.

‘And you never know what someone is going through. Sending virtual hugs and taking deep breaths with all of you that need it.’

Last month, Steph revealed she and Josh were expecting a son.

‘We cannot wait to meet our little dude,’ Steph captioned a video from their gender reveal party, which showed a puff of blue smoke launching into the air.

The couple first revealed their baby news in October, when Steph told her Instagram followers: ‘Mini Miller due April 2021.’

Steph and Josh tied the knot in November 2019 in a festival-themed ceremony on the banks of the Murray River, in country Victoria.

She has previously admitted to having a crush on Josh since she was 12, but the pair didn’t start dating until their late teens.
