Bec Hewitt leaves Melbourne for Sydney to begin filming Dancing with the Stars: All Stars

She won the first season of Dancing with the Stars way back in 2004. 

And Bec Hewitt made the journey back to the dance floor on Friday, leaving her home in Melbourne and jetting off to film the new series in Sydney.

The 37-year-old actress was escorted to a waiting taxi by her husband, tennis champion Lleyton Hewitt.

Bec looked stylish but relaxed for her journey to Sydney, where the reboot of Seven’s dance competition will be filmed.

The mother of three paired a burgundy top with wide-legged pants for her flight.

She completed the look with white sneakers and styled her blonde hair loosely.

Bec slung a couple of bags over her right shoulder, including a Christian Dior purse.

Meanwhile, a driver helped with her luggage.

Lleyton, a former world number one, kept things casual for the farewell, sporting a pair of shorts, a T-shirt and a backwards-facing cap.

Bec was then driven to Melbourne Airport, where wheeled her own luggage into the terminal and smiled for the paparazzi.

Inside the terminal, her crop top offered a few glimpses of her toned tummy.

Once at the airline counter, the Helloworld host covered her mouth and nose with a face mask as a precaution against Covid-19.

The entire cast for Dancing with the Stars: All Stars was announced on Tuesday. 

In addition to Bec, the contestants are: Renee Bargh, Lincoln Lewis, Ada Nicodemou, Matty Johnson, Luke Jacobz, Kyly Clarke, Tom Williams, Jamie Durie, Manu Feildel, Erin McNaught, Schapelle Corby, Jessica Gomes and Fifi Box.

Meanwhile, TV legend Daryl Somers, who hosted the first seven seasons of the light-entertainment program, is returning for the new series.

Seven is expected to begin filming Dancing with the Stars at Sydney’s ICC theatre, and the program will air later in the year
