She’s at the top of her game as a comic.

And Tiffany Haddish made history this Sunday when she won the Grammy for Best Comedy Album, making her the first Black woman to earn the honor in 35-years.

As Tiffany chats with a producer through an earpiece in the clip, she says she’s simply honored to be nominated for a Grammy.

She’s completely surprised when he tells her she’s won.

‘Are you serious?’ the Like A Boss actress asks as the kids continue to chatter.

Tiffany then stops to tell the kids about the award, saying: ‘You know a Black woman hasn’t won in that category since 1986’ in reference to Whoopi Goldberg’s win for Whoopi Goldberg: Original Broadway Show Recording.

Tiffany then reflects on how far she’s come since her days of dealing with homelessness and hunger, telling the kids: ‘Can I tell you why I’m crying? It’s a lot of bumpy roads that you cross, right?

‘And it’s a lot of times that you feel like, “Am I doing the right thing? Is this good enough? Am I good enough? Am I strong enough to do this job?”

‘And then you just have to believe in yourself as much as you can.
