Shocking moment live electricity lines crash down and narrowly miss crowd helping driver who smashed into power pole

Terrifying footage shows the moment Good Samaritans trying to help a woman stuck inside her wrecked car narrowly avoid being injured by falling power lines.
The incident occured after a woman lost control of her car and crashed into a power pole after suffering a ‘medical emergency’, in Mobile, Alabama, on Friday.
In the video, captured on the dashcam of a nearby car, members of the public are seen gathering around the vehicle on Schillinger Road.
Suddenly the power pole begins to crack in two places, bringing down the live cables towards the crowd.
The group scatters as they spot the impending danger and luckily nobody is hurt by the lines – which come to rest on the top of the crashed car.
Speaking to WKRG-TV Chase Harrison, who captured the footage, said the incident could have been much worse.

Minutes after the crash the pole gave way and began to fall towards the crowds gathered underneath who had been helping the women inside the car
Everyone managed to get clear and there were no injuries from the live power lines collapsing
Mr Harrison told the channel: ‘To not have any of the boxes on top of the pole spark or anything when it hit was amazing’.
The woman inside the car is believed to have suffered a medical emergency and crashed into the pole after losing control, despite the passenger’s best efforts to bring the car to a safe stop.
The driver was able to walk out of the car to be treated on a stretcher when emergency services arrived, WKRG reported.
