Married At First Sight fans were left furious during Monday night’s episode after bisexual groom Liam Cooper was outed at his wedding to Georgia Fairweather.
The 29-year-old was talking with the show’s other participants when Rebecca Zemek outright asked him about his sexuality.
The uncomfortable exchange sent fans flocking to Twitter, with many viewers convinced Liam had been set up by the show’s producers.

‘That was not okay how Liam was put on the spot like that,’ tweeted one viewer, while another commented, ‘It would be the producers setting Liam up like that.’
Added another: ‘Reality TV being what it is, if that convo about Liam was staged or planned, #MAFS just sunk to a new level of s**t.’
‘So the producers chose the worse human on the planet to casually out Liam…’ tweeted one furious viewer of Beck, 27.

Others claimed Liam being outed so publicly without having any say in it was reprehensible.
‘No one should be forced to come out like that on national TV. I want to give Liam a big hug,’ wrote one viewer.
‘F**k #MAFS for pushing a bi scandal storyline. Super disrespectful to not only Liam but also your viewers. @MarriedAU reflect,’ tweeted another.
‘I’m bisexual myself and the way your producers advertised this episode and treated Liam’s bisexuality like a scandal possibility was disgusting.’
Commented another: ‘I feel really sad for Liam that that’s how his sexuality came out… nobody deserves that’.
After stopping by the table with the show’s other brides and grooms, Beck asked the newly married couple what their ‘non-negotiables’ were.
Liam said he didn’t have any, which only encouraged Beck to push further, outing him in front of the group and his new bride.
‘So what happens if they didn’t swing your way? Is that a non-negotiable?’ Beck asked, putting Liam on the spot.
After piecing it all together, a stunned Georgia, 25, turned to Liam and asked: ‘Are you bisexual?’
A red-faced Liam then fell silent as Beck and Georgia both burst out laughing.
Nodding his head, a clearly humiliated Liam finally confessed: ‘I am, yeah. Yeah, yeah.’
