She found herself ‘stuck’ in Australia last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The 53-year-old showed off her very toned legs in tiny blue shorts as she carried her pet cat Mel in a cage.

While she never intended to relocate to Australia, the Umbrella Academy star has made herself at home on the west coast amid the coronavirus pandemic.

‘I didn’t really want to go back to New York in the middle of a pandemic when it was pretty gnarly to say the least,’ she told Sydney’s Daily Telegraph.

‘I couldn’t go home initially, and now that I can, I don’t really fancy going back. When I have my own mother saying don’t come home, my 86-year-old mum… we are in a very challenging time!’

According to The West Australian, Kate has also found love with Australian farmer Andrew Nixon.

The couple have reportedly been living together in Perth since the pandemic began after Andrew convinced Kate to relocate.
