MAFS’ Samantha Harvey breaks down as she and Cameron Dunne choose to LEAVE

Drama was at an all time high during Sunday night’s commitment ceremony.

Three of the couples on Married At First Sight chose to leave the social experiment, and there was no shortage of tears or heartfelt revelations.

An emotional Samantha Harvey broke down as she told the experts she hoped for a ‘man’ in Cameron Dunne, while Coco Stedman and Sam Carraro, as well as Beth Moore and Russell Duance also chose to leave.

‘I came here for somebody real. I came here for a man,’ a teary Samantha, 31, said. 

‘I did come into this with a lot of hope, I’ve really given it my all. I’ve given this everything,’ the blonde continued. 

Cameron, 32, admitted that their relationship was ‘hard from the start’ as he ‘switched off early’.

When asked about his feelings for co-star Coco Stedman, Cameron said that there’s ‘obviously a connection’.   

‘It’s hard to ignore and it’s probably not the right thing to be doing, but it’s hard to ignore that,’ he confessed. ‘Feelings are feelings [but I] don’t know where it goes from here.’ 

Coco and Sam Carraro, 32, also chose to leave the experiment, vowing to leave ‘amicably as friends’.

‘I have no idea what the next step is for Cam and I,’ the Pilates instructor said after she made the epic gaffe. ‘Maybe we’ll spend one night together, we’ll open an honesty box and we’re done.’ 

While Beth Moore, 39, and Russell Duance, 37, both chose to leave, they left on amicable terms.

Russell told the experts: 'I realised there was no spark on the honeymoon. My mindset went, "You know what? We're mates". All I got was more friendship from Intimacy Week'

‘[There’s not been] a lot of progress [this week], and I did come here to find love. I realised we’ve got lots of differences,’ Beth told the experts.

Belinda Vickers, 29, and Patrick Dwyer, 27, chose to stay, and while there’s ‘no tongue’ in their kisses, they vow to work on their intimacy.

Going strong: Booka Nile, 31, and Brett Helling, 31, (both pictured) also chose to stay, and by far have the most progressive relationship, with Booka telling the experts she feels 'safe' around Brett, with the pair having 'some really great conversations'

Also choosing to stay was Melissa Rawson, 31, and Bryce Ruthven, 31, and Alana Lister, 30, and Jason Engler, 35. 

Meanwhile, Jake Edwards, 32, and Rebecca Zemek, 27, will remain on the show for at least another week, with only Jake choosing to stay.  

James Susler, 44, chose to leave, while Joanne Todd, 39, chose to stay.   

Married At First Sight continues Monday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine
