‘It was all my idea!’ Lizzie Cundy reveals she set up former lovers Patsy Kensit and ex-England footballer Micky Gray who went on to date for two months
Lizzie Cundy has revealed that she set up former lovers Patsy Kensit and ex-England footballer Micky Gray.
The former WAG, 52, said she phoned Micky one night pretending to want to talk about working together but actually she ended up setting him up with her ‘dear friend’ Patsy.
Speaking on her brand new podcast The Wag and The Stag, which she hosts with Micky, she said: ‘I play practical jokes on people which is terrible and I know it wasn’t funny or clever but she talked about you and I thought I’ve got to get home soon.

‘So I did a little set up phone call pretending to be a producer who was my friend as well and I rang you (Micky) and said I’ve got an exciting opportunity.
‘It was all my idea. I’m sorry, poor Patsy I dragged her into it and when you appeared I thought ‘oh sh*t’ because there was no TV deal or opportunity going on.
‘I’m obviously a good actress, but it was my idea, was nothing to do with Patsy. But then you went on and had great fun so you probably owe me a drink.’

Micky then chipped in to say: ‘Well it worked well done!’
Elsewhere on the podcast Lizzie said she loved being a WAG and the social side of it and that she genuinely loved watching football as she discussed her early career.
Patsy famously split from ex-footballer Micky in 2015 after two months of dating, days before entering Celebrity Big Brother.

After the split its emerged that their relationship allegedly came to a dramatic end after he whisked another woman away on holiday.
According to the Sunday Mirror, Gray jetted off to Qatar with author and artist Patrica Wilson while he was working in the country as a TV pundit.
A source told the newspaper at the time: ‘Micky was dating Patsy for a while and it seemed as though it was going really well, but for some reason it appears to have come to an end. He’s kept it all rather quiet. It must be upsetting for Patsy.
‘Micky has always been fond of Patricia.’

Just days before she entered the CBB house alongside the likes of Katie Hopkins and Perez Hilton, the four-time divorcee hinted that she was suffering from a fresh heartache.
Taking to Twitter, she shared the quote: ‘Broken hearts mend… Just learnt to be mindful of where to open my heart again….’
Patsy has had something of a complicated love history and married musician Dan Donavan when she was just 19 years of age.

A year later, she got hitched to Oasis rocker Liam Gallagher, but the ill-fated reunion lasted just a year. Almost ten years later, she tied the knot with DJ Jeremy Healy but that lasted a year.
The stunner has two sons, James, from her marriage to Jim Kerr and Lennon Gallagher, from her union with Liam.
