Strictly’s Katya Jones dons chic padded coat and chunky black boots as she leaves Morning Live

Gran-dango! Strictly’s Katya Jones swaps the sequins for padded coat, knitted trousers and booties to leave studio after revealing she hasn’t bought any new clothes for two years

Katya Jones swapped the sequins for a much cosier ensemble when she was pictured leaving BBC‘s  Morning Live’s London studio on Thursday. 

The Strictly pro dancer, 31, wore a chunky padded coat with white knitted trousers and chunky black booties as she stepped outside and playfully posed for cameras.

Katya presented her own fashion upcycling segment, showing viewers how to recycle old T-shirts into quick and easy tote bags and how to make face masks from old clothing items.

The beauty revealed she is committed to a sustainable lifestyle and hasn’t bought any new clothing for nearly two years. 

The Russian dancer’s flamboyant fashion sense has earned her many online admirers, plenty of whom were deSlighted when Katya announced that she had started her own Depop shop.

Writing on her profile, Katya explained: ‘I am selling items I no longer need for very reasonable prices. You can buy as a bundle to pay shipping only once. Message for any questions.’

She has been selling many pieces of clothing she no longer needs, including sports bras, skirts and tops.

Many of the products on her page are selling for as cheap as £1, with some items already sold out. 

Katya has joined the likes of Kate Ferdinand, Katie Price and Chloe Ferry, who have all found success through selling their old clothing on Depop.

Recently, in an interview with Waggel, Kaya reflected on how she found her 30th birthday ‘challenging’ because her marriage to Neil, 38, was going ‘downhill’.

Katya and Neil announced their separation in September 2019- ten months after she was pictured kissing her former dancer partner Seann Walsh.

Talking about the dark period, she said: ‘In 2019 I turned 30, it was a challenging time. I didn’t like where I was, it felt like I was in limbo actually

‘My relationship was going downhill. I didn’t feel happy in my own company until May 2020, when I spent my birthday in lockdown.’

Katya also revealed she has used the time since her split from Neil to ‘better myself’ and hasn’t dated since they broke-up.
