Robin Thicke receives sentimental gift from fiancee April Love Geary in memory of late father Alan

Robin Thicke rang in his 44th birthday on Wednesday.

And the Blurred Lines hitmaker received a sentimental gift from his fiancee April Love Geary in memory of his late father Alan Thicke.

‘She [got] a picture of my father holding my album saying, “I’m proud of you, love Dad,”‘ revealed Thicke in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. ‘You can’t beat that.’ 

Alan, who famously played Dr. Jason Seaver on the beloved 1980s sitcom Growing Pains, passed away unexpectedly in December of 2016 at the age of 69.

Robin proudly shared a photo of his fiancee’s sweet gift with his 676,000 Instagram followers.

‘Today is my Birthday! My darling April had this made for my birthday. It’s my father holding my new album saying he’s proud of me,’ he began in his post’s caption.

‘Thank you @aprillovegeary for the best gift ever! Thank you to my friends and family for all the birthday love! I love you all!!!’

He gushed in his interview with ET that April is an expert at conjuring up the perfect birthday surprises, and this year was no different.

‘April always has something, yeah, we always surprise each other,’ he concluded.   

The 26-year-old model also had a custom birthday cake made for Robin featuring one of the many ‘dumb one liners ‘ he has delivered over the years.

‘I have a bunch of quotes [saved] of dumb one liners Robin has said since 2014 and this is one of them,’ explained Geary, who shared a snapshot of the cake with her Instagram following.

The custom creation, which was decked out in a sky blue frosting, had ‘I don’t like to be right all the time, but I’ll do it’ written on it in dark blue icing.

She concluded the Instagram Story posts by tagging Robin and wishing him a ‘happy birthday.’

After presenting the thoughtful cake to Robin, April made sure to snap a pic of him to share with her followers.

Also included in the snap was the couple’s two daughters, who mimicked their dad’s beaming smile. 

‘Robin bday photo dump,’ captioned Geary, who also included a shot of the cake getting cut into and a painted portrait of her and Robin.

Making sure to include the couple’s newborn in on the birthday festivities, April included a brief clip of son Luca lounging on Robin’s lap.

Hours earlier, April shared a series of ultra romantic photos of herself and Robin as she further commemorated his birthday on social media.

Two of the sweet shots showed the couple engaged in passionate kisses, while another showed them posing next to one another in the ocean.

‘Happy birthday my love! @robinthicke,’ captioned the mother of three, who boasts 180,000 followers on Instagram.

April and Robin, who were first romantically linked in 2014, have welcomed three children over the span of their relationship.

The couple share three-year-old daughter Mia, two-year-old daughter Lola, and son Luca Patrick, who was born in December of last year.

Thicke, known for his song 2013 Blurred Lines, also has a ten-year-old son, Julian Fuego, from his marriage to actress Paula Patton.

April has previously commented on the 18-year-age gap between her and Robin, in a 2017 Instagram selfie from the loved-up pair’s Maldives vacation.

‘We’re out here LIVING while most of y’all are still bothered by an age gap,’ the model captioned the snap.

Robin famously proposed to April in December of 2018, surrounded by the model’s closest friends and family.

She proudly shared a photo of herself and Thicke shortly after the proposal, with the caption: ‘YES YES 1000x YES’
