Christine Quinn predicted she’ll be a Mean Girls-style ‘cool mom’ as she discussed her ‘special’ pregnancy on Thursday’s This Morning.

In the virtual interview, the Selling Sunset personality, 32, insisted she’ll take inspiration from Amy Poehler‘s Mrs. George in the 2004 hit film when it comes to raising her child with retired tech entrepreneur husband Christian Richard.

The real estate agent, who confirmed she’s passed the six-month mark, also took a swipe at her TV co-stars for not congratulating her on her baby news, stating: ‘I was really shocked… I hate when people shelter themselves.’ (sic)

When asked about how she thinks her parenting skills will be like, the reality star told hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield: ‘I think I’m gonna be a really cool mom like the mom in Mean Girls.

‘It was such a huge milestone in my life, motherhood is such a special thing. We released it about a week ago and we’re so thrilled.

The actress’ iconic portrayal of Regina’s mother in the comedy saw her dance at her daughter’s high school performance and offer teenagers cocktails.

Earlier this month, Christine called out Chrishell Stause, Heather Rae Young and Mary Fitzgerald for failing to like her pregnancy announcement post on Instagram.

Admitting she was left stunned by their lack of support, the model said: ‘That’s one of those comments that really hurt my feelings I was really shocked to hear that in the press.

‘You know it is what it is. I hate when people shelter themselves behind the press, say those things to my face.’ 

In the TikTok video, Christine typed their first names into the search engine, before deleting each one when they did not come up on the post.

The media personality expressed her excitement over the upcoming series as she added: ‘Selling Sunset has been renewed for not one but two seasons, we’re going to be filming very soon and I’m so excited about that.’

Selling Sunset follows luxury realtors across Los Angeles who work at The Oppenheim Group and the returning cast includes: Jason and Brett Oppenheim, Chrishell, Christine, Mary, Heather, Amanza Smith, Maya Vander, and Davina Potratz.

A spin-off series from the same creators about an all-black, all-female real estate firm in Florida is also on the horizon, the streaming giant announced.

The series will follow Allure Realty, owned by military vet Sharelle Rosado, and her firm of realtors.
