Married At First Sight’s Bryce Ruthven reveals the REAL reason he got fired up at Sam Carraro

‘It was the worst thing I’ve heard someone say’: Married At First Sight’s Bryce Ruthven reveals the REAL reason he got fired up at Sam Carraro at the dinner party

They came to heated blows on Wednesday’s episode of Married At First Sight, and now Bryce Ruthven has revealed what really happened between him and Sam Carraro.

In an interview with Hit106.9’s Nick, Jess and Ducko on Thursday, the 31-year-old radio announcer confessed ‘there was a lot that didn’t make the 90 minutes’.

Bryce said what was ultimately shown on TV was a ‘very tame version of what actually happened on the night’.

Tell-all: They came to heated blows on Wednesday’s episode of Married At First Sight, and now Bryce Ruthven (pictured) has revealed what really happened between him and Sam Carraro

He said that the ‘catalyst’ for his furious fight with Sam, 32, was left out of the episode.

According to Bryce, Sam had made repeated comments about ‘wife’ Coco Stedman, including one which he and many of the other grooms found ‘disgusting’.

‘That was basically the catalyst, and you saw a lot of people being quiet last night because they didn’t sort of want to bring it up,’ he explained.

He added: ‘It was the worst thing I’ve heard someone say to another human being.’

Although Bryce didn’t actually hear what Sam had said to Coco, 30, he was later told about it by ‘another groom’, who ‘knows Sam quite well’.

This groom is likely to have been Cameron Dunne, who knew Sam from before the show, and who engaged in an affair with Coco.

‘We sort of brought it up, and he clearly got quite offended about me saying it to him, because… that actually wasn’t shown in the cocktail party, and that was basically what I ended up bringing up with him,’ explained Bryce.

He later revealed that Sam had ‘called [Coco] a burn victim because she wears fake tan’.

The two men were seen trading insults in front of the rest of the group as they awaited dinner, before things kicked off again at the dinner table.

Their argument culminated in Bryce throwing a glass of water at Sam, before storming off.

Despite coming to blows though, they appear to have since patched things up, with Bryce revealing they even ‘had a beer’ together recently.

But Bryce said he has no regrets about throwing the water, and called it ‘a very heated dinner party’.
