Tallulah Willis poses in patterned tank top and shorts amid ‘sad’ day

Demi Moore and Bruce Willis’ youngest daughter Tallulah Willis shared a snap of herself posing in a patterned tank top and shorts on Tuesday, amid a ‘sad’ day.

The 27-year-old took to Instagram to post the shot, which showed her looking sensational as she posed for her mirror selfie in the grey two-piece.

Her selfie came days after she shared – and then deleted – a heart-wrenching post about having been ’emotionally and psychologically abused’ in the past.

Captioning the image, she wrote: ‘today was roasted ca ca for me, BUT also my aunt Linder @pretties sent me a gift and it’s so cute and make with EXTRA THOUGHTFUL AND EXQUISITE CARE FOR THE TATAS.’

She concluded: ‘I am grateful. And sad. Both exist both are valid. Love you all.’ (sic) 

Last week, Tallulah revealed she was the victim of long-term abuse in a now-deleted Instagram post, explaining how she was ‘trapped’ into living with a caretaker who isolated her from the outside world from the time she was 18 to 20.

Willis said while she was ‘never physically touched,’ her abuser showed ‘no mercy’ in their manipulation, coercing her to move in with them, changing Willis’ phone number, taking over her email account, and hiding mail from her.

‘I have a story,’ she wrote in white text on a black background. 

‘I’ve strived to be as open as possible, most often finding community with my vulnerability. With nervous fingers I am ready to share about a time in my life that I had chosen to not give to the public.

‘It’s taken a long time to heal, and if I’m being honest even as a freshly 27-year-old the wounds are still gaping, yet I’ve been fighting each day to heal for the past couple years. I am not ready to give you everything, so bear with me please. 

Willis went on to talk about her abuse, which she said happened at the hands of a paid caretaker who she knew since childhood.

‘There was someone in my life, someone who had been introduced into my world since I was in elementary school, someone who I was told was there to keep me safe,’ she wrote. 

‘At 18, I deferred my acceptance to Boston University. It was then that this person, who I can now understand was as sociopath, directed me to live with her.’

‘Without protest (I didn’t know I had a say), I moved in,’ she continued.

After she moved in, Tallulah said the abuser took over her life.

‘This person changed my phone number, my email address rerouted to theirs, mail was kept from me; I was trapped in house of horrors and told no one cared, no one was coming,’ she went on.

‘I was never physically touched, but emotionally and psychologically abused with truly no mercy.

‘For two years I lived in fear so pungent my stomach recoils in memory. It stayed in the back of my throat long after I escaped my abuser.’

‘It is continually unfathomable to me that someone could do that to a child, who was in so much pain already, who only wanted love, safety and a space to heal, and could see them as nothing more as a means to an end.’

‘My very real mental health issues were manipulated and falsified for job security, and an unlimited credit card,’ she continued.

Tallulah then explained what prompted her to come forward about her abuser, telling readers how she was triggered by a relic from the past: a rare Chanel purse.

‘So here is where my story becomes relevant,’ she wrote. ‘It was during these 2 years that I was given a purse for my birthday. Paid for unknowingly by my father, a $5,00 vintage Chanel bag was placed in my hands.

‘Mixed emotions filled me as I was grateful for the extravagant gift, but very uncomfortable with the way it was procured.’

‘I am moving, and in my packing and boxing I have been quite thoughtful of what items I want to keep in my energy field. I believe wholeheartedly that objects can manifest and hold onto energy, particularly negative energy.

While the purse only represented a dark time for Willis, she told readers that she hoped it could find another life with a new home.

‘This bag represents a pain, a story I would not wish on anyone,’ she explained. ‘I have no used this bag in 9 years.

‘And it’s time for someone to reclaim what is a spectacularly rare and beautiful piece from an iconic fashion house, to inject love into a darkness I do not wish to revisit.’

So, she was putting the ‘incredibly rare’, 100% authentic and fully restored ‘1990s flap bag with planetary embroidery’ up for sale on eBay.

‘It is my hope that is telling you this story, just as I have healed this object can heal as well under new ownership,’ she wrote.

Within minutes of sharing the heart-wrenching post, Tallulah deleted it.
