Married At First Sight’s Coco Stedman and Cameron Dunne are caught flirting at the group dinner

After enjoying a flirty friendship, Cameron Dunne and Coco Stedman couldn’t keep their emotions in check during the group dinner party on Wednesday’s episode of Married At First Sight.

The would-be couple had all of the other participants gossiping about their scandalous behaviour, even though their respective partners, Samantha Harvey and Sam Carraro, were also in attendance.

Despite sitting at opposite ends of the dinner table, Cam and Coco, 30, could be seen making eyes at each other throughout the meal.

‘Sitting across the table from Coco, it’s definitely frustrating. I can’t jump the table and be on her side,’ confessed Cam, 32.

‘It’d be nice to be next to her, and having a good laugh and having a good time, like we normally do.’

Added Coco: ‘Cam’s definitely been flirty towards me. I looked into his eyes, and then he started looking down and like, [laughs].’

Cam said he was finding it ‘hard’ to be at the same table as Coco, because he didn’t want to be ‘too obvious’ in front of the others.

Finally, Cam stood up and went and sat closer to Coco down the other end of the table.

Sensing he was holding something back, the show’s other participants began to probe Cam about what was wrong.

‘I just think I’d be better suited with someone else,’ Cam told fellow grooms Brett Helling and Patrick Hayes Dwyer.

‘Who’s that? The woman next to me?’ asked Patrick, 27, referencing Coco.

Cam refused to elaborate but made it known that Patrick was right, and admitted he was ‘in a pretty hard place’.

‘Well, why don’t you just do it the right way? Sit on the couch and say, “Listen, I’m in here to find love and I think I’ve found it,”‘ advised Brett, 31.

Meanwhile, Coco told fellow brides Alana Lister and Booka Nile that she and Cam are ‘very similar people’.

Coco and Cam’s candid admissions left the show’s love experts stunned, with John Aiken claiming it had ‘come out of left field’.

Back at the dinner table, Alana, 30, urged Coco to go and ‘have a chat’ with Cam.

‘There’s been rumours circulating that Coco and Cam are friendly. Nothing has happened apparently… The rumour is that they like each other,’ said Booka, 31.

‘I want to be a part of this conversation,’ Cam told Patrick and Brett, before adding, ‘I think I’m already part of that conversation.’

Meanwhile, the rest of the table started to take notice of the obvious connection between Cam and Coco.

‘I notice how much Cam lights up whenever Coco’s around… He goes all red and funny around Coco,’ observed Joanne Todd.

Finally, Joanne, 39, called Coco over and told her: ‘There’s someone else on here who’s better for you, love.

‘Look at him now, he looks miserable. But when you’re around, he starts glowing… Only when you’re around, he is better. Do I not speak the truth?’

Coco told Joanne and fellow bride, Belinda Vickers, that ‘it’s not the right thing to do’, but Joanne told her she didn’t ‘want to miss out on an opportunity’.

‘It’s just, it goes against a lot of the things I believe in,’ said Coco.

She later added: ‘I don’t know. My head and my heart are going in two very separate directions. And I don’t want to hurt Samantha, and I don’t want to push anything.

‘I want to let their relationship play out naturally. I don’t want to be a contributing factor in the breakdown of their relationship.

‘But at the same time, it kills me, because you know the one who you think is the right person is just there, but they’re out of reach.’
