MAFS’s Samantha Harvey is in tears after finding out about ‘husband’ Cameron Dunne’s affair

Their flirty relationship was the hot topic of conversation at the dinner party on Wednesday’s episode of Married At First Sight. 

But things came to a head when Samantha Harvey finally found out about her ‘husband’ Cameron Dunne’s affair with fellow bride Coco Stedman.  

After discussing the relationship with Joanne Todd, Coco, 30, suggested that maybe she should ‘just go and talk to Samantha’ and say ‘give us your blessing’. 

She then brazenly went and sat next to Samantha, 31, and asked if they could ‘have a chat’, as a nervous Cam watched on from the other end of the table.

‘I just want to say something to you, because, like, people around the table are talking about it, and I want you to know what people are saying,’ she began.

‘That Cam and I appear on the surface that we would be good together.’

A stony-faced Samantha just glared at Coco, while a horrified Cam, 32, rubbed his face and muttered, ‘Oh, God.’

Continued Coco: ‘Nothing’s happened between Cam and I, it’s more just because we are very similar people that I think that people are saying. Like, from the bottom of my heart, I’m sorry.’

A seemingly shocked Samantha sat silently for a few moments, as Cam continued to watch on sheepishly from the other end of the table.

‘There’s nothing there between Cam and I. And honestly, I’m giving you my blessing,’ Samantha told Coco, before abruptly standing and leaving to go to the bathroom.  

Meanwhile, the love experts seemed sceptical that Samantha would give Coco her ‘blessing’, with Mel Schilling labelling her response ‘self-protection’.

‘It’s a bit harder for her than she’s making out,’ added Mel, 49.   

Sensing she was upset, fellow bride Beth Moore followed Samantha outside and enveloped her in a comforting hug as she began to cry.

‘This is humiliating. Absolutely humiliating. The fact that it’s been going on behind my back. The fact that he said stay and he’s wasted a week of my time has made me angry,’ Samantha later said. 

Venting to Beth, 39, Samantha admitted she was upset that ‘Cam didn’t actually come and bring it up with me’.

‘What he says is completely different to how he acts. So, I just don’t find his morals are in place with his actions,’ she continued. 

Meanwhile, back at the table, an upset Cam told the others that it was ‘starting to get a bit messy’. 

‘You know what, good luck to them. Good riddance, out of my life,’ fumed a furious Samantha.

‘I’ve been cheated on for five years with two children. I don’t need that again. But I think this is just a reoccurring thing that happens in my life, to be honest.’

After storming into the bathroom, Samantha could be heard crying on the other side of the door.

‘Another failed relationship. I am so tired of ending up like this,’ she said, in between floods of tears.

Meanwhile, Cam said he was angry that he hadn’t been ‘consulted’ by Coco before she went and spoke to Samantha. 

‘I didn’t know this was going to happen. I didn’t know anything about it,’ he fumed.

Addressing the group, Coco said: ‘Everyone’s saying that Cam and I would be good together, and so I just sat down next to Sam and I just said, “I need you to know that people are talking about this.”‘

She then added that Samantha was ‘an amazing, beautiful human’: ‘Props to her. I’ll say that in front of everyone.’

But Cam told the group that Coco’s confession to Samantha had ‘come left field’ and he ‘didn’t know that was going to get brought up’.

‘Obviously Coco and I get along, but I haven’t had any say in this. At all,’ he angrily added.

Despite claiming she’d been ‘scared’ to talk to Samantha, Coco insisted she ‘did the right thing’. 

‘I’ve come into this with a partner, so I’ve still got to be respectful to her. I’m married at the moment,’ said a furious Cam.

He added: ‘Nothing has happened between Coco and I, and that’s the way it’s going to stay.’
