Famke Janssen steps out in the Soho neighborhood of New York while staying safe and masking up amid the COVID-19 pandemic

Famke Janssen played it safe and kept it casually chic while stepping out in New York City on Tuesday.

The 56-year-old actress stepped out for a solo stroll in the Soho neighborhood of New York City.

She also landed a new TV series role as well, joining Spectrum Originals’ basketball drama show Long Slow Exhale.

Janssen was wearing a stylish black floral print mini-dress as she took her Soho stroll on Tuesday.

She stayed warm with a knee-length black coat and black leggings as she walked through the neighborhood.

The X-Men star completed her look with black shoes, a black face mask covering her mouth and nose, black sunglasses atop her head while carrying a black purse.

Janssen has landed a recurring role on Spectrum’s Long Slow Exhale, alongside Rose Rollins, Josh Lucas and Jeff Schine.

The series will follow Rollins’ character J.C. Abernathy, the coach of a successful college women’s basketball team.

Her world is turned upside down when she becomes embroiled in a sexual abuse scandal as she tries to find the truth while making decisions that affect her family and career.

Janssen will portray Dr. Melinda Barrington, Chancellor of the university that Abernathy works for.

The series is created by Pam Veasey and will be directed by Anton Cropper, who will both executive produce alongside John Dove plus Bruna Papandrea and Casey Haver for Made Up Stories.

The show will have a nine-month exclusive window for Spectrum cable subscribers, with a second run following on BET.

Janssen is coming off The Poison Rose with Ella Bleu Travolta and she has Redeeming Love with Logan Marshall Green and Nina Dobrev in post-production.

She also stars in the upcoming thriller The Vault with Freddie Highmore and Astrid Berges-Frisbey, arriving later this year.

The actress also recently just wrapped Dangerous with Mel Gibson and Scott Eastwood.
