Scarlett Moffatt appears to be back together with her boyfriend Scott Dobinson, just 24 hours after announcing they had split up.

The couple – who have been together for two years – were seen on Scarlett’s Instagram on Monday night, cosying up on the sofa together watching the Oprah, Meghan and Harry interview.

Scarlett, 30, filmed Scott tenderly holding on to her leg as they watched the two-hour special, after which she filmed herself telling people to ‘be kind’ in light of the royal expose.

Just 24 hours earlier, Scarlett revealed she and the police constable ‘sadly’ ended their romance over the weekend in a post on Sunday evening, which has since been deleted.

The couple – who recently moved into their new ‘dream’ home – had hinted at starting a family and wanting to adopt children just last month, and teamed up with Radio 1 to launch their joint podcast, Scarlett Moffatt Wants To Believe, in May 2020.

Alongside an image of the pair posing in their kitchen, the former Gogglebox star wrote: ‘Unfortunately me and Scott are no longer together.

‘Nothing major has happened, it’s just one of those sad things. I’m going to stay positive for the future and if this lockdown has taught me anything it’s to grab life by the horns as life’s far too short.’

On their break-up, an insider told The Sun: ‘Scarlett is heartbroken that her relationship with Scott has come to an end. They’ve had a rough few weeks and lately it’s all become too much.

‘Together they have decided to take time apart and Scarlett has told people it is over for good. Scott and Scarlett were very amicable, it’s just a shame.

‘Everyone who knows them hope they can work it out as they make such a great couple.’

The Sun claimed that the former Queen of the Jungle removed Scott’s Instagram account from their property profile, Our Bonnie Barn, and that they had also unfollowed each other on the platform.

But this is not the case at the time of writing, with all accounts re-followed.

The pair purchased their abode last December, 10 miles away from her County Durham home, which she sold for £400,000 only one week after putting it on the market.

Scarlett and Scott had been updating fans by documenting their renovations on social media.

In February, the reality star-turned-broadcaster revealed she would like to have kids with her then-beau ‘one day’.

The host took part in an Instagram Q&A when she was asked whether she had any plans of becoming a mother in the coming years.

She shared: ‘One day maybe in a few years. However that may be. Ever since I was a kid I’ve wanted to adopt as I think every child deserves a loving home.’

The media personality also discussed plans of eloping to Las Vegas in a recent episode of their podcast, insisting: ‘I’ve always, always wanted a massive wedding.

‘Now I keep saying “let’s go the Vegas.” I’m not actually engaged yet, but I assume he’s [Scott] going to do it at some point.’

The officer joined in the wedding chat, revealing: ‘She’s [Scarlett] full of hints.

‘It went from “I’ve found this stately home, let’s have this massive ceremony, get all this catering in, this is how I want my tables” to “we’re going to Vegas, it’s what I really want to do because it will be fun.”’

In an exclusive interview with MailOnline earlier this year, the influencer lovingly declared ‘they are meant to be together’ as she confessed to feeling used during relationships in the past.

They started dating shortly after Scarlett made an emergency 999 call about a stranger outside her home in 2019.

The ‘fit’ constable arrived at her door which sparked conversation, but according to the brunette, they had known each other for several years.

The I’m A Celebrity star revealed they had been speaking on-and-off since she was 18, but the timing was never right due to work commitments.

Scarlett recalled: ‘We would message on Facebook but then it would die off because we were both busy.

‘But I think we were always meant to be together, which I know sounds really soppy and it makes me cringe to say,’ she laughed. ‘But I do honestly think we were always meant to be together.’

Before dating Scarlett, the Extra Camp star split from personal trainer Lee Wilkinson in April 2018, claiming he was unfaithful.

After parting ways, she took to social media to hit out at the ‘cheating pathological liar’ and posted a cryptic message referencing Henry VIII – who had six wives.

Scarlett said: ‘Just always seem to choose cheating pathological liars… I just choose lying cheats it’s a skill.’

‘For anyone that needs this right now, I just want to say if somebody feels you’re not enough for them then that isn’t a reflection on you, that’s a reflection on them… Unless you’re Henry VIII, then one girl’s normally enough.’

Despite her explosive claims, the Virtually Famous star sparked rumours of a reconciliation the following month when she hid her Facebook relationship status, after changing it to ‘single’.

However, the two soon called it quits again after she reportedly dumped Lee when his ex-girlfriend of two years, Sam Irving, claimed he had sent her messages while he was still with Scarlett.

Her romance with Lee followed a long-term relationship with hairdresser Luke Crodden, who left her devastated when he broke up with her on her birthday in 2017.

She wrote on Facebook at the time: ‘I’m gonna have to write it because I feel a bit awkward as I’ve done some interviews about him being in my book that aren’t out for a while due to timings of the magazines … but me and Luke have finished due to a number of different things.

‘It was Luke’s choice in the end but it’s because we both just see each other in more of a friendly way than a romantic way.

‘We both respect and love each other enough to know we need to call it a day and not be one of those couples that’s off and on.’

Scarlett’s love life was put under the microscope when she branched out from Gogglebox to enter the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle in 2016.

The Iain Stirling’s CelebAbility captain was also at one point linked to Ant McPartlin, having landed a role on Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, after impressing ITV bosses on I’m A Celeb.

These reports were never validated, however, and Ant has since found love with Anne Marie Corbett, following his divorce from make-up artist Lisa Armstrong.

MailOnline has contacted Scarlett’s representatives for further comment.
