He’s been dubbed ‘the most hated groom’ on this season’s Married At First Sight, after blurting out a string of cruel comments about his wife Melissa Rawson.
But on Tuesday’s episode, viewers were left baffled when Bryce Ruthven, 31, bizarrely stormed out on the workplace trainer – after she made a simple joke about what she was wearing.
‘I just walked out,’ Bruce said to Melissa, 31, after his exit. ‘I literally said to you in the bathroom, “What are you wearing today?” You said, “Oh, I’m wearing clothes”.

Like Melissa, viewers were left shocked by the weird storm out – particularly after she had been left in tears on multiple occasions, due to his negative comments on her appearance.
Bryce had previously complained about Melissa’s eye colour, told her she ‘wasn’t ugly’ when he saw her down the aisle, and rudely claimed he would never approach her in a bar in real life.
One disgruntled fan wrote: ‘First eye colour now this? Bryce isn’t even human I swear!’

‘Bryce: “What are you you wearing today?” Melissa: “Clothes”. Bryce: “…HOW DARE YOU!”‘ another joked.
‘Bryce is the kind of guy who thinks he’s the only person who’s allowed to make a joke,’ a third added.
A fourth chimed in: ‘Oh my freaking lord. #Bryce is the most emotionally immature and unavailable man I’ve ever seen. Melissa has found her voice, yay. Now find your feet.’
The devastated bride later explained that she felt hurt by Bryce’s decision to not express his feelings, and questioned his intentions for being on the show.
