Gossip Girl reboot’s Whitney Peak covers Wonderland magazine and says ‘huge fandom’ is ‘overwhelming’
She played Idris Elba’s daughter in the 2017 Aaron Sorkin movie Molly’s Game.
And now Whitney Peak is getting noticed with her starring role in the HBO Max reboot of The CW’s Gossip Girl.
The actress, 18, is featured on the cover of the new issue of Wonderland magazine and inside she talks about being the focus of ‘such a huge fandom’.

Peak, who also had a role in Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, was born in the Ugandan capital Kampala and raised in Canada.
The Gossip Girl reboot began airing in January and she told Wonderland she’s already blown away by the response.
‘We haven’t even finished filming the show yet and there’s already so much media attention and such a huge fandom,’ she said.
‘Everybody has something to say about it… It’s kind of overwhelming. But I’m so excited for the audience to be caught off guard!’ she added.
