Ginny And Georgia star Felix Mallard shares behind the scenes snaps

He’s already a household name after Harry Styles personally chose him to play a character loosely based on him in US sitcom, Happy Together.

And Australian actor Felix Mallard’s star is set to rise once again as the brooding and complicated 16-year-old Marcus Baker, in Netflix show Ginny And Georgia.  

The show tells the story of free-spirited Georgia and her two kids, Ginny and Austin, who move north in search of a fresh start but find that the road to new beginnings can be bumpy. 

Marcus plays the love interest of lead character Ginny, and sneaks into her room through her window soon after he moves into her new home. 

And Felix, who is 22 in real life, shared some behind the scenes snaps on Instagram including a picture of himself sitting down outside his trailer.

He wore a comfortable tracksuit and Ugg boots as he smiled while sitting on the steps outside in the sunshine.

He also shared a picture of the actors who play Ginny’s boyfriend Hunter, played by Mason Temple, Brodie, played by Tyssen Smith and Matt Press, played by Damian Romeo, eating lunch in the canteen. 

As well as being a talented actor, Felix used to play in a punk band.

He previously told Entertainment Weekly: ‘My dad played guitar and he still plays guitar so he was always singing and playing for me when I was growing up.

‘I picked up a guitar when I was about seven or eight, I think, and I’ve just been trying my hardest since then. 

‘I also started playing piano when I was about 10, and then picked up the drums with my band when I was about 12 or 13, and singing sort of came along with that.’

Felix has previously starred as Ben Kirke in Neighbours, and – more Netflix series Locke and Key.
