Former Ironwoman Candice Warner traded her activewear for a silk polka-dot frock as she stepped out to attend the Autumn Racing Carnival media Launch in Sydney on Tuesday. 

The cricket WAG, 35, looked pretty in a peach one-shouldered midi dress teamed with black pointy heels.

She wore her hair straight and loose around her shoulders and accessorised with a jewel-encrusted headband by Aussie designer Viktoria Novak.

Candice complemented her glamorous ensemble with a bronzed makeup look and minimal silver jewellery. 

The mother-of-three showed off her toned bicep in the modest dress, a result of her intense training for SAS Australia last year.  

She trained with Kev Toonen from the Sydney gym 98 Riley Street, undergoing seven intense workouts each week.

They comprised of three one-hour strength sessions, two one-hour runs and two two-hour walks with a weighted backpack.

And despite gaining five kilograms of muscle, Candice went from an already slim size 10 to a toned and super-fit size 6.

Candice shares her passion for fitness with her cricketer husband David Warner, who is the father of her three daughters, Ivy Mae, six, Indi Rae, four, and Isla Rose, one.

At the event on Tuesday, Candice was joined by Sky Racing TV presenter Julie Snook.

The two chatted before Julie interviewed the athlete on the red carpet. 

Julie, 33, wore a gold midi-dress and teamed her frock which some black pointy heels.

This was Julie’s first major event after she tied the knot with her long-time partner and actor Hugo Johnstone-Burt on Sunday.

‘It was an incredible day. Eighty of our closest family and friends together and, given the year we’ve all endured, it was even more special,’ she told The Sunday Telegraph after the big event.
