Lindsey Vonn shows off a slimmer figure when in her skinny jeans

Lindsey Vonn seems to be a bit lighter these days.

On Monday the 36-year-old Olympic skier appeared much thinner than in previous years as she ran went to visit a friend in Beverly Hills.

This comes almost after the 5ft10in blonde beauty – who split from fiance, pro hockey player PK Subban, in December – said losing weight in the past had cost her wins in her skiing career.

And the sire wore her hair up in a Barbie updo that looked both fashion forward and flirty.

She was seen getting out of her white SUV and walking down a street in LA as she made her way to a friend’s house.

In November Vonn said that losing weight to look good on the red carpet hurt her skiing career.

She told Access Hollywood’s Kit Hoover: ‘I had a lot of anxiety and body image issues when I came on the red carpet because I was, you know, 30, 40, 50 pounds heavier than everyone that I was standing next to…

‘There were definitely moments where I sacrificed a bit of my skiing career, especially after the Olympics. I lost weight because I felt like I needed to fit in and that cost me World Cup wins, that cost me an overall title.’

It has been a difficult year for Vonn as she starts it as a single woman. In December she announced that she was no longer set to wed PK.  In her caption the blonde beauty said, ‘We have decided to move forward separately.’

‘Over the past 3 years PK and I have had some incredible times together,’ she began her caption.

‘He is a kind, good man, and someone I respect a great deal.’

Then came the news. ‘However, after much consideration we have decided to move forward separately. We will always remain friends and love each other immensely. We ask that you please respect our privacy during this time.’

In her accompanying photo the two looked happy as they posed side by side as they wore winter clothing.

When she co-hosted of the 2020 Sports Illustrated Awards on December 20, the star looked stunning in a red dress but there was no sign of Subban. She did have on her engagement ring, however. They were last seen together on her Instagram account in October.

In October she said their wedding plans were on hold. ‘We are in a holding pattern,’ said the star.

‘With COVID, it just feels like there’s no good option, you know? I don’t have a timeline or a plan, we’re just kind of going to wait and see.

‘Obviously, his family is in Canada, so I can’t physically get to Canada and they can’t get here,’ the star skier added. ‘It’ll happen eventually, we just don’t know when.’

The couple said at the time they were ‘not in a rush’.

‘Neither of us are really worried about when we’re going to get married,’ Vonn commented. ‘We know it’s gonna happen, so we’re not in a rush about it.’

‘It’s been great for us. We’ve really enjoyed the time together, as much as one can,’ she reflected.

‘When you’re living together and you see each other every single day, 24 hours a day, you get to know each other pretty quickly. I think it’s been good for us to really find out everything about each other, and I think we’ve gotten a lot closer throughout the whole process.’
