During an interview with Tot Living, Port stressed the importance of staying physically active while raising a child, as she felt that she was better equipped to keep up with her son through her fitness routines.

The reality television star remarked that ‘if you care for yourself, you can care for others, and staying active and getting those endorphins going helps with the feeling of balance.’

The designer also noted that while she was carrying her son, she decided to accept things as they happened and was pleased with what she learned during the experience.

‘I’m a planner by nature but during my pregnancy I made a conscious decision to not plan every single moment. And this in itself was surprising because I was able to take each stage as it came and deal with it in my own way,’ she said.
