MAFS: Cameron Dunne’s pre-cheating crisis talks with Jake Edwards

It’s no secret that Married At First Sight groom Cameron Dunne is struggling to form a connection with his bride Samantha Harvey.

And just hours before meeting up with Coco Stedman for a secret rendezvous, Daily Mail Australia can reveal Cam, 32, spoke to co-star Jake Edwards of his marital woes.

The Gold Coast-based crane operator was pictured having a tense conversation with Jake, also 32, outside their Sydney apartment on October 3.

According to an eyewitness, a nervous Cameron was pacing up and down the lower lobby of the Skye Suites apartment complex before Jake walked over for a chat.

‘Jake could see Cam looking tense while waiting for a producer and walked over to see how he was going,’ the on-set spy said.

‘He kept mum about Coco and said he was just trying to work things out with Samantha.’

The bystander said the pair chatted for ’15 to 20 minutes’, and Jake also vented about his own relationship woes with wife Beck Zemek. 

‘Neither groom was wearing a ring. It was a deep and honest chat,’ they said. 

Cameron and Coco are understood to have filmed their cosy chat on October 3, three days after meeting at the first dinner party. 

On Wednesday’s episode, Coco invited Cameron to her apartment, claiming she wanted his ‘advice’.

‘He doesn’t find me attractive,’ Coco told him of her husband Sam. Cameron then reassured her she was ‘a good-looking person’.

They then shared a laugh, and Coco later told producers: ‘There is that spark there. It’s been so bad with Sam, and then this bloke walks in like a breath of fresh air.’

Cam was paired with single mother Samantha on this year’s season of MAFS, but after getting along well on their wedding night they have grown apart.
