Dressed in an orange-patterned t-shirt and a bandana over his normally-colored hair, the first snap showed the Georgia native holding the keys to the house.

There’s also an image where he’s standing above a staircase holding a balloon reading ‘congrats’ while flashing a peace sign with a modern chandelier just behind him.

With the sun glaring down, Nas (born Montero Lamar Hill) also struck a pose in the backyard, which is enclosed with a wooden fence, with plenty of green trees in the backdrop.

He also gave his 12.2 million fans and followers on Instagram and Twitter a look at his jacuzzi in the backyard, as he lifted his left arm up towards the gorgeous blue sky with joy.

The two-time Grammy winner headed inside for a photo in his sleek black-and-white kitchen and in a bathroom, where he got playful again and hopped into the tub.

Overjoyed by his newfound financial independence, Nas made sure to flash his infectious smile in all six photos.

Nas was born in Lithia Springs, Georgia, which is a small city just outside Atlanta, and attended the University of West Georgia after graduating from high school in 2017.

Suffering from mental health issues, including depression, he dropped out of college to pursue a career in music, and found himself living with his sister until she kicked him out, as told by the rapper on TikTok

By late 2018, and with little cash in his pocket, Nas bought a beat online for $30 and used it in the creation of the song, Old Town Road. That purchase would be the best 30 bucks he ever spent.

The country rap single first became a hit on the popular social media app TikTok in early 2019.

Several remixes of the song were released in the proceeding months, but by far the most popular one featured country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, which helped it soar to number one on music charts around the world.

The catchy tune spent 19 weeks atop the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, making it the longest-running number-one song since the chart debuted in 1958.

Along with Old Town Road, Nas’ debut EP also featured the hit song Panini that hit number 5 on the Hot 100 and Rodeo which peaked at number 22.

He has since released a children’s book — C Is For Country — in January 2021.
