Bec Hewitt reveals that her children are ‘excited’ for her to return to Dancing With The Stars and daughter Ava is even helping her train – after she won the competition 17 years ago

She won Dancing With The Stars 17 years ago. 

And, Bec Hewitt is set to put on her dancing shoes back on to compete on the upcoming Dancing With the Stars: All Stars series. 

In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, the 37-year-old mother-of-three explained that her children, Mia, 15, Cruz, 12 and Ava, 10, are thrilled.

‘They are so excited, when I said I was doing it Mia said “I feel like I want to cry,”‘ Bec told the publication. 

The former Home And Away star revealed that ‘keen dancer’ Ava has been helping her with the training. 

‘I’m lucky having little miss Ava who does a lot of training herself so she’s able to help me with some training and some strength and conditioning.’

Bec’s return to the dance floor comes 17 years after winning the first season of Dancing with the Stars in 2004. 

She performed with professional dancer Michael Miziner, who went on to marry model Rachael Finch. 

This season, the blonde bombshell, sho is married to tennis star Lleyton Hewitt, is dancing with Craig Monley.

Bec first rose to fame as Hayley Smith Lawson on the long-running soap Home And Away from 1998 to 2005.

The return of DWTS to Seven from Channel 10, will see the new season bring back past winners and ‘wildcards’ for a two-week television event.

Other confirmed contestants include actress Ada Nicodemou, TV presenter Tom Williams, radio star Fifi Box and MKR’s Manu Feildel.
