Tekashi 6ix9ine has gone through quite the transformation during quarantine.

In addition to the lockdown, the Brooklyn-born rapper was on house arrest for four months, during which he gained 70 pounds.

He offered some questionable weight loss advice to TMZ on Thursday, as he revealed how he ‘starved’ himself to cut 60 pounds in six months, after finishing his house arrest sentence.

The 24-year-old said: ‘Literally how you lose it, starve yourself and work out. Starve yourself and work out. Starve yourself and work out. 

‘People who don’t want to lose weight make a whole bunch of excuses. Starve yourself and work out. That’s it. Starve yourself. Simple.’

He admitted that he allows himself cheat days, adding: ‘I’m not gonna lie, every three days I was cheating. My kryptonite is gushers. I would eat gushers like every three days… I can’t survive without gushers.’

He made his return to Instagram last month, recently offering an update for his 23.2million followers: ‘Hey guysss………. SO the real reason I LEFT Instagram and MUSIC for 6 months is because in September I was the biggest I ever got ..

Tekashi was sentenced to two years in prison back in December of 2019, after he infamously snitching on the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

He was released 17 months later in April of 2020, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and he was ordered to serve another four months on house arrest.
