Regina King rocks a fun military-inspired green jumpsuit for a day of shopping

She went from the red carpet to the red bullseye.

Regina King, 50, was very much the everywoman as she was spotted shopping for housewares at Target on Thursday just days after appearing at the virtual Golden Globes. 

The Watchman star made history recently as one of three females nominated in the best directing category at the 2021 Globes. 

On a casual day running errands, King still managed to look super chic in a military inspired Nike Air Jordan boiler suit.

The army green and black ensemble is inspired by a flight suit and tied around Regina’s trim waist.

While in the store, King was seen pushing her shopping cart while scoping out items for her home including a large curtain rod. 

The A-lister was nearly incognito with her hair tucked under a knit beanie and a plaid facemask. 

She paired the jumpsuit with a pair of high top sneakers and Louis Vuitton crossbody bag. 

Louis Vuitton seems to be the actress and director’s designer of choice these days. 

On Sunday she landed on nearly every single best dressed list at the virtual Golden Globes ceremony sporting a black and silver column gown by the luxury label embroidered with 40,000 sequins. 

‘Having taken 350 hours to complete, the embroidery is composed of black, golden and silver sequins, as well as crystals carefully positioned to create a shimmering gradation,’ a representative from Louis Vuitton told People. 

The dazzling look was made complete with $2 million worth of Forevermark jewelry. 

King was nominated for Best Director for a Motion Picture for her movie One Night In Miami. 

Chloé Zhao was the eventual winner of Best Director for her movie Nomadland. Zhao, King and Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman) made history being nominated in the category. 

With Oscar nominations around the corner later this month, there is buzz surrounding King who is expected to, once again, score a nod in the directing category.
