Stassi Schroeder announces her new parenting podcast on Patreon after getting fired from Bravo

Former Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder is taking her career trajectory into her own hands after being fired from the Bravo series due to resurfaced racist statements in June.

On Thursday the 32-year-old reality star announced her latest venture — a parenting podcast called The Good The Bad The Baby on the exclusive pay-for platform Patreon.

A smart move on her part after comments made on her last podcast contributed to her firing, Schroeder said she plans to talking about embracing what she calls ‘the good the bad and the messy’ parts of parenthood.

Stassi teed up a bit about what her subscribers could expect if they pay for access to she, husband Beau Clark, and their newborn Hartford’s lives for $8.99 a month.

‘Becoming a parent is literally the best, most f***ing overwhelming magical chaotic incredible thing that’s ever happened to me and I am so excited to start sharing the good, the bad, the messy, the little moments, the wtf?! and everything in between.

‘Join our family on Patreon where we have started a brand new exclusive podcast called The Good The Bad The Baby. We’ll be sharing the real moments as they happen, as well as exclusive videos and more… once we figure this s**t out!,’ she wrote.

Schroeder shared that listeners could expect ‘3 podcasts per month’ and ‘exclusive videos,’ announcing the venture while sharing a montage of her journey to parenthood.

Her last podcast Straight Up With Stassi was subsequently removed from all streaming platforms when her controversial statements resurfaced in June (amid the Black Lives Matter movement), prompting her firing from Vanderpump Rules.

A laundry list of offenses that caused her to be dropped from the show, endorsement deals, and her talent agency, the downward spiral started when her former Black castmate Faith Stowers revealed Stassi and castmate Kristen Doute had jokingly called the cops on her (due to her skin color) for a crime she never committed.

‘I guess this woman was robbing people. And they called the cops and said it was me. This is like, a true story. I heard this from actually Stassi during an interview,’ Stowers said.

Additionally Schroeder tweeted a link to the Daily Mail article that detailed the incident and wrote, ‘hey tweeties, doesn’t this ex #pumprules thief look familiar? someone put her on mtv & gave her a platform for press. I didn’t wanna go there but I’m going there.’

In 2017 she and a Summer House cast member discussed the ‘#OscarsSoWhite’ hashtag on her podcast where more controversial statements ensued.

‘I’m like, really sick of everyone making everything about race. … I’m kind of over it,’ she said, adding ‘Everyone giving their impassioned speeches about race and all of that stuff, I’m like, ‘Why is it always just about African Americans?”

Additionally she had posted a signature ‘OOTD’ (outfit of the day) photo where she dubbed her look as ‘Nazi chic’ in 2017, later downplaying any offense as she called it a ‘joke.’

In June she acknowledged her past shortcomings ahead of her firing via Instagram while apologizing to Faith.

‘It is important that I continue to take accountability for what I have said and done, while pushing myself to do better. I have grown significantly from the person I was then, and I am still filled with remorse and regret for the hurt I caused.’
