MAFS: Cameron says ‘producers deliberately mismatched him with Samantha’

Married At First Sight’s Cameron goes rogue and says ‘producers deliberately mismatched him with Samantha so he’d have an affair with Coco’

The seeds for Married At First Sight‘s first affair were sown on Wednesday’s episode when Cameron Dunne secretly met up with Coco Stedman.

The pair’s spouses, Samantha Harvey and Sam Carraro, didn’t know about the rendezvous and while nothing physical has happened yet, rumours are swirling things will soon escalate.

Crane operator Cameron, 32, spoke about his growing connection with Pilates studio owner Coco, 30, on the Cliffo & Gabi radio show on Thursday, and hinted their affair was encouraged by producers.

He said the producers and experts had deliberately mismatched him with divorced single mother Samantha, 31, in the hope he would pursue another bride.

‘That was my theory on paper. Coco is probably the perfect match for me. We’ll see how that plays out,’ he said cryptically.

Cameron went on to criticise Coco’s TV husband Sam, saying the construction worker’s ‘true colours’ will be exposed later in the season.

‘I think you’ll see that throughout this experiment… his true colours begin to shine.’

She had become frustrated with Sam because of his rudeness and the fact he shows no affection or romantic interest.

She told Cameron that Sam ‘doesn’t find me attractive’, and he reassured her that she was a ‘good-looking person’.

The pair then shared a laugh, before Coco admitted: ‘There is that spark there.’

Cameron was paired with property developer Samantha, a mother of two boys, on MAFS, but they are already experiencing major problems.

It remains to be seen how she’ll react to her husband’s blossoming friendship with Coco, with whom she previously clashed at the hen’s party.
