Married At First Sight’s Cathy Evans hints she’s split from boyfriend Richard

Cathy Evans failed to find love with Josh Pihlak on Married At First Sight in 2020.

And it appears her romance with the mysterious police officer she started dating after the seventh season of the show has also come to an end.

The Logistics Investigator, 27, has removed all tags of her boyfriend, known only as Richard, from her Instagram photos, and replaced some with cryptic comments.

‘Did you really think,’ the voluptuous blonde tagged the last picture she uploaded to her account of the couple celebrating Valentine’s Day together.

‘Girl bye,’ she added.

While captions reading how much she loved ‘doing life’ with the policeman on other pictures of the couple remain, all tags have been removed – sparking rumours they have split.

In a post to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, she shared being in a ‘weird period’ with her followers.

‘I’ve been getting really nice DMs the last few days,’ she captioned the post, where she was seen holding her what-appears-to-be upset face with her hand.

‘Thank you to all for being kind when it’s been a weird period for me.’

Cathy debuted her romance with Richard on Instagram in August, uploading a fan’s illustration of the couple and explaining she would not share many photos of them together as he was ‘very private’ in the caption.

‘It’s a special day today. My boyfriend’s birthday and I don’t share him on insta purely because I like to keep my love life private,’ she wrote.

‘People wanna ruin a good thing and I don’t want that for us. Plus he’s a private man and I respect his wishes. 

‘But for once, I’ll post of us. I love you so much.’
