The Bachelor: ‘Queen’ Victoria Larson cries in front of Matt James on The Women Tell All special

‘Queen’ Victoria proved she wasn’t as tough as she seemed when she broke down crying on Monday’s airing of The Bachelor: The Women Tell All.

Victoria Larson, a 27-year-old self-described ‘queen’ from Los Angeles, had worn tiaras throughout her stint on the show and offended fans with her imperious ways.

As with several other contestants at the resort, her badgering of other women proved to be her downfall and she was let go by Matt James, 29, during a rose ceremony.

Tell all: ‘Queen’ Victoria proved she wasn’t as tough as she seemed when she broke down crying on Monday’s airing of The Bachelor: The Women Tell All

Matt arrived on the two-hour, pre-recorded show sporting a beard that he said was full of the wisdom he’d acquired as the first Black male lead of the Bachelor.

As he faced the women for the first time since they’d left, he was asked about the issue of the ‘Mean Girls’ in the house.

His thoughtful response brought the hard-shelled Victoria to tears.

Considering all the drama that happened during season 25, Matt said he’d been surprised, but had done his best to make decisions based on his knowledge of the cast.

Kindly, Matt said that he knew that the women were good people and could see that the things they did on the show were not reflective of their character as a whole.

‘Victoria, I know your heart,’ he offered, singling out ‘The Queen.’

Victoria trembled as she returned his gaze, saying she’d realized her love of drama had torpedoed her chance for romance.

She’d acted out in rage when she left the house, and now confessed that it had been hard hearing Matt say she needed to reflect on her behavior and that he had ‘no words’ for her.

‘I had done my best to open up and I have tremendous fear of rejection,’ Victoria revealed, crying. ‘That was why my exit was a little dramatic. I was going through levels of pain at that time.’

She’d received hate mail and death threats from viewers, and said she’d grown since the show.

That was hard to believe a little earlier in the program when she was shown speaking to Ryan Claytor, 25, a dancer and choreographer from Brooklyn.

During the season, Victoria had called the artist a ‘ho’ because of her profession, and didn’t understand why that seemed offensive.

‘Do you think you’re just a super-sensitive person, though?’ Victoria asked Ryan. ‘The extent of your upsetness at it, are you just an emotional person?’

‘I think anybody could be emotional in a situation when they’re called a ”ho,” an ”idiot,” or a ”shady b****”,’ Ryan retorted.

‘I’m just puzzled as to why you’re holding onto this emotional anger right now,’ Victoria said blankly, as the other women jumped in to defend Ryan.

Katie Thurston, 30, a bank manager from Renton, Washington, had blown the whistle on all the ‘toxicity’ in the house and told Matt what Victoria was doing.

Re-watching the show was hard, Katie said, because she had to see Victoria calling her ‘disgusting’ over and over again.

Victoria apologized and said that she’d done the best she could do, admitting that a lot of people called her a bully on the Internet.

‘Life is a learning experience, and again, I’m just so sorry,’ she offered.

Katie accepted her apology and added, ‘We all went through something really hard, and I know some of you guys are experiencing backlash right now, and that’s your own karma.’

Chelsea Vaughn, 29, a model from Brooklyn, resented the insinuation that they all deserved it, but Katie noted that Chelsea hadn’t balked when her friends were talking trash.

‘You’ve said, ”Bullying is such a strong word,” and ”Is the house really toxic?”,’ Katie pointed out. ‘Okay, mean girl s***. What do you want to call it?’

‘The house was not toxic until you made it toxic by bringing the situation up to Matt and then causing the domino effect that led to every single drama in the house,’ Chelsea replied.

Matt, however, told Katie, ‘In the face of adversity, you were courageous, and I appreciate you for that.’

Brittany Galvin, 23, also took a seat to address what show host Chris Harrison, 49, called ‘one of the craziest rumors that I have heard in 20 years’ as he brought up the false claim that she was an escort.

The model from Chicago said the rumor devastated her and made her not want to contact family or friends for weeks after she left the show.

Brittany was horrified by the Google results now connected with her name, she said.

‘I didn’t sign up to get bullied,’ she said. ‘I came here to find my person, and this is forever going to have to be an association to my name.’

Rumor spreader Anna Redman, 24, a copywriter from Chicago who said she’d heard from Brittany’s associates admitted she knew her behavior was indefensible.

‘After watching the aftermath, I am 100 times more sorry,’ Anna apologized. ‘I can’t even imagine what it’s like to be you, and it just sucks that I did that to someone else. It was just this ball that kept rolling, and everything I did in the situation was wrong.’

Brittany hoped her apology was genuine, saying that she’d heard Anna was making fun of her even after she left, and had never reached out to her.

Anna blamed her behavior on her own anger issues and insecurities, calling it ‘awful.’

‘I don’t want people to destroy your life as well,’ Brittany said, forgiving her. ‘That’s not my intention at all. There’s just been times in my life where I have said or done stuff that’s hurtful towards the people around me, and I wish I could take it back. I do sympathize.’

The show also recapped the season’s fight between Jessenia Cruz, 28, a social media marketer from San Antonio, Texas, and MJ, 23, a hairstylist from Hudson, Ohio.

During the season, Jessenia branded MJ a ‘mean girl’ for repeatedly denigrating female newcomers to the show, and MJ got booted by Matt for it.

On the episode, MJ said she’d only wanted to lift people up, but conceded, ‘I do have a strong personality, and that should not be misconstrued as mean.’

In a series of one-on-one conversations, show host Chris spoke to the women who’d grown closest to Matt before leaving.

Katie said she’d been deeply upset by his rejection, as she thought he’d be meeting her family; it made her wonder if there was anyone out there for her.

Abigail Heringer, 25, a client financial manager from Beaverton, Oregon, had gotten Matt’s first impression rose, but their relationship never grew, and she still wondered, ‘What if?’

Pieper James, 23, a college student from Happy Valley, Oregon, said that she’d been in love with Matt and was ‘absolutely heartbroken’ to be dismissed.

Serena Pitt, 23, a publicist from Toronto, had quit after she sensed she might not be that into Matt, but re-watching their journey brought her to tears.

During hometown visits, her family’s doubts made her realize she wasn’t ‘100 percent sure.’

‘Talking to my mom, it brought clarity,’ Serena said. ‘It just wasn’t the clarity I was hoping to get.’

Seeing Serena again was ‘hard,’ Matt admitted as the two of them exchanged glances.

‘It was hard for me, too,’ Serena responded. ‘I felt being honest with you was the most respectful thing that I could do.’

As the show ended, viewers watched a blooper reel from the season in which Matt fell a number of times and got so aroused by hot-tubbing with Serena he needed a robe.

Viewers also saw wild un-aired group dates in which the women fished for jewelry amid insects, chugged pancakes, beer, and eggs, and played hide and seek with Matt in the woods.

In a funny segment, Matt was shown kissing all the women with his eyes open, and he laughed as he revealed he hadn’t known he was supposed to close them.

The Bachelor will return next week on ABC ahead of the season 25 finale that will air March 15.
