‘We don’t need it’: Amy Schumer jokes she’s coping fine without childcare as she shows off her VERY messy kitchen

She revealed a couple of weeks ago that she no longer has a nanny for her 21-month-old son Gene.

And on Monday, Amy Schumer insisted, somewhat tongue in cheek, that she and husband Chris Fischer are coping just fine without any help.

‘We were worried, not having childcare, but we’re like actually like doing really well,’ the comedienne said in an Instagram video, which showed her standing in her very messy kitchen.

‘We don’t need it,’ Amy added, as hubby Chris, who was filming, could be heard snorting with laughter.

Amy wore a tie dye t-shirt dress and her hair was tied back from her face.

As the camera panned around the tiny space, the video showed it cluttered with dirty pots and pans, baby bottles, and half open or consumed items including a box of crackers, bottled mineral water and fruit.

The couple’s nanny Jane had been living with them during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in New York City.

But on February 18, Amy shared with her Instagram followers that Jane was now ‘focusing on her studies’.

That news came a few days after she and Chris had celebrated their third wedding anniversary.

They tied the knot in Malibu, California, on February 13, 2018, after a whirlwind romance, and welcomed their son on May 5, 2019.
