She admitted ‘FaceTime really helps’ after the cricketer jetted off to India and Sri Lanka for eight weeks at the start of the year for England’s winter test series.

When asked about how she deals with being apart from the sportsman, Mollie said: ‘Yes, I miss him so much, but I know he’s doing what he loves. I try to keep myself busy so the time passes more quickly.

‘We speak on the phone as much as we can and FaceTime really helps. I like to prop the phone up in the kitchen and potter around so it feels like he’s there with me… not sure how entertaining that is for him though.’

The former pop star saw her 2021 get off to a happy start when Stuart proposed on New Year’s Day during a walk in Richmond Park, London.
