‘I used to take old tights that had holes in and I would cut them up sports bra tops because they had the support but they’re not too restricting and have the support. I love to wear them to bed.’

Earlier this month, Nadia revealed she’s turned to ‘intuitive eating,’ after years of ‘disordered eating’ and ‘self-loathing.’

The Loose Women star, who is a size 14, said how she has transformed her relationship with food and her body, admitting she previously wasted so much time: ‘hiding away, being ashamed or getting caught up in diet culture.’

The actress told The Sun the start of 2021 is the first New Year in her entire adult life that she’s not been on a diet, and branded the achievement ‘so liberating’.

She confessed: ‘Every January I’d diet, lose weight and then I’d put it back on every time. So I’m really trying to get back to intuitive eating — it’s a complete revolution.’

Nadia – who has previously discussed her battle with binge eating – said: ‘I want to be totally clear that I didn’t have a categorised eating disorder, I wasn’t bulimic, I wasn’t anorexic, but I had disordered eating, which so many people have.

She explained that she’s trying to get away from having a ‘constant internal conversation’ about what she’ll allow herself to consume.

Looking back on times she’s experienced ‘terrible self-loathing,’ Nadia admitted: ‘You cannot believe how much of my life I’ve wasted hiding away, being ashamed or getting caught up in diet culture’ and insisted: ‘I like how I look with my weight.’

The star credits a 2017 underwear shoot for ITV’s Body Stories with her Loose Women co-stars for helping her to finally accept herself in the body she’s in.
