A Hollywood home once owned by The Wizard of Oz actress Margaret Hamilton has been listed for sale for $2.4 million.
The three bedroom villa – located off the Sunset Strip – was purchased by Hamilton after she played the Wicked Witch of the West in the classic MGM film, which was released in 1939.
Hamilton died in 1985 and its current owners have given the 3,000 square foot pad a plush makeover – but the property still exudes Old Hollywood glamour.
The bungalow is one of five residences located in the Courtney Villa complex – a heritage listed property constructed back in 1926 by famed architects Frank H. Harding and George J. Adams.
The complex features a communal pool, but each of the detached homes has been designed to offer maximum privacy.
