Comprised of singer-songwriter Debbie Harry, guitarist Chris Stein, drummer Clem Burke, Leigh Foxx, guitarist Tommy Kessler and keyboardist Matt Katz-Bohen, Blondie has dominated the charts for the past four decades.

Blondie’s chart-topping success led to an induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2006, a NME Godlike Genius Award in 2014, a Q Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music in 2016, the 2017 Silver Clef Outstanding Achievement Award and more than 45 million albums sold worldwide to date.

‘Blondie is one of those rare bands whose influence and impact can be felt across a half dozen musical styles,’ says editor Rantz Hoseley.

‘Whether you’re talking about the reggae groove of The Tide is High, the defiant dance floor anthem Atomic, or the groundbreaking introduction of rap into mainstream culture with Rapture, Blondie’s influence and ability to transcend categorisation is undeniable.’

Rantz continued: ‘With an identity that emerged in equal parts from fine art and pop culture, having Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner leading the creative charge on graphic novel that explores Blondie’s rise from the dangerous streets of 1970s New York, to become an international powerhouse was a natural fit for Z2.’

Blondie’s next endeavours include a short film and soundtrack project BLONDIE: VIVIR EN LA HABANA culled from the band’s live performances from 2019.

The band is also presently working on their 12th album with producer John Congleton.

Blondie: Against All Odds is available for preorder now for a fall release in softcover and hardcover editions at finer comic shops, book and record stores worldwide.
