Married At First Sight’s Sam Carraro is left stunned as he watches wife Coco Stedman weigh hummus for her toast

They failed to hit it off on their wedding day, and things didn’t improve between Sam Carraro and Coco Stedman on Wednesday’s episode of Married At First Sight.
The awkwardness and tension continued onscreen as the two awoke as husband and wife for the very first time.
Making their way to the kitchen for breakfast, Sam, 32, was left shocked when his bride opted to weigh the hummus she was topping her toast with.

‘Have you had breakfast yet?’ Sam asked the 30-year-old brunette, who told him she was ‘just gonna have some toast’.
‘What are you having on it?’ he asked, before Coco asked him to get the hummus from the fridge.
After retrieving the hummus, Sam was left stunned as Coco proceeded to weigh it before smearing it on her bread.
‘That’s 100 grams of hummus. I’m not using the whole… I’m just having 10 grams,’ Coco explained as she weighed her hummus
She did what? Sam wasn’t the only one who was left questioning the pilates studio owner’s choice of breakfast, with fans venting their frustrations on Twitter
‘Oh, she’s weighed it! What did it weigh? I hope you didn’t go over,’ he laughed.
An unimpressed Coco was quick to shut her new groom down: ‘That’s 100 grams of hummus. I’m not using the whole… I’m just having 10 grams.’
The couple then fell into an awkward silence, before Sam, seemingly lost for words, simply said: ‘Yeah, right.’
