Married At First Sight Australia’s Mike Gunner has turned his skills to tattooing since the show as the former electrician showed off his incredible scalp inkings.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, the reality star, 45, proudly displayed the results of his transformation on a customer as he admitted: ‘Long day but worth it.’
Mike soared to fame on Married At First Sight Australia, which first aired Down Under in 2019, and has become a surprising hit in the UK recently.

Posting a video to his Stories, Mike, who has 209K followers, said: ‘I have been tattooing all day on this legend, how good do you look?’
To which his customer, who sat in front of a Mike Gunner scalp tattoo branded board, admitted: ‘I don’t believe that’s me!’
Mike continued: ‘Yeah, you look like a million bucks!’
It is not known when the reality star first started his tattooing business but he has been sharing snaps from his business as early as 2019 after Married At First Sight Australia first aired Down Under.

In a selfie shared in January, Mike said: ‘I tattoo people heads for a living. I also teach it. Seeing someone walk out of the studio feeling more confident is so satisfying. There’s a link to before and afters in my bio 🙂 #SMP.’
While in a photo shared in December 2019, he penned: ‘Your husband or boyfriend doesn’t need to be bald. Let me make him feel young again!’
Earlier this month, Mike was accused of ‘gaslighting’ his wife Heidi Latcham during the Married At First Sight Australia experiment.
The electrician’s actions came into question through recent episodes, when he locked horns with Jessika Power and then was seen to apparent ‘gaslight’ Heidi, yet since the show aired in Oz, he has stood by his actions.

Mike and Heidi’s chequered romance has seen the couple lock horns on a number of occassions and she has been frequently left hurt by his words.
Yet a prevalent accusation has been that he is ‘gaslighting’ with his words, starting very early on during their honeymoon when Heidi gave a heartbreaking insight into her difficult childhood, to which Mike said: ‘I’m not your therapist’.
‘Gaslighting’ is the practice of emotionally abusing another person with such conviction and confidence that the victim starts to doubt their own sense of reality.

Coming to his defense however, one viewer penned: ‘Does anyone else think Heidi on Married at First Sight Australia is just overreacting ever so slightly? I didn’t see her issue..I think Mike was being genuine’.
Mike said after the show: ‘I have done a lot of interviews and I have received a lot of criticism. I received comments like, I am ‘gaslighting’, I am a ‘narcissist’…
‘Other people’s insecurities don’t concern me… If they want to cast labels like that on me then that is a reflection of their own poor judgement, not mine.’

When the show first aired in Australia in 2019, Gabriela Pao, a woman claiming to be Mike’s ex-girlfriend accused him of gaslighting her during their relationship and issued a stern warning to Heidi.
She told Who: ‘I was crying all the time and he accused me of being emotional. He’s a charming guy and was fun and very sexual at the beginning.
‘He’d say horrible things to me at the start that I thought was my fault. He used to call me chunky and fat and made me feel horrible. I lost myself and became depressed.’
Mike recently debuted his new relationship with Sonja Marcelline, saying he was happy to finally ‘have a girl who gets me’.
