Sandra Lee says her uncle Bill is fighting coronavirus in LA hospital with ‘extremely compromised’ immune system

Celebrity chef Sandra Lee asked for prayers as she said her beloved uncle Bill is fighting coronavirus in a Los Angeles hospital.

Lee, 54, took to Instagram on Saturday to inform her followers of Bill’s debilitating battle with the virus, as People reported he’s in stable condition with low oxygen intake.

‘He was diagnosed with Covid and has now been in the hospital for a bit,’ the Food Network personality said. ‘Uncle Bill was so good about staying home-staying safe.’

Lee noted that her uncle ‘is extremely compromised at 83,’ as he ‘just recovered from colon cancer’ and deals with ‘bad lungs’ and ‘a heart condition.’

The Santa Monica, California-born noted that her uncle ‘has had other health issues for four years,’ adding that she feels like ‘the Grim Reaper [hunts] him and we fight tooth and nail to keep him here with us.’

The TV personality said of her uncle, ‘There are just a few more bucket list items he wants to check off plus he’s my Guy, my Go To – he and Aunt Peg asked me to move from Wisc to LA with them and I did, it changed my life.

‘He helped me start my Business, got up at 3 am to fix me food when I can home from a grueling day of work on the road, he help me make a life and build on it and he is a mountain of a man in our family.’
