Jenny Slate and Charlie Day to join Gina Rodriguez and Manny Jacinto in I Want You Back

A diverse and talented group of actors have been tapped for an intriguing new Amazon film soon to go into production.

Deadline reports that Jenny Slate, Charlie Day, Gina Rodriguez, Manny Jacinto and Scott Eastwood have all been cast in the upcoming romantic comedy I Want You Back.

The film will follow a pair of freshly dumped thirty-somethings who team up to sabotage their respective exes’ new relationships in order to get them back.

Slate, known for her turns in Obvious Child and Venom, will star alongside It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia‘s Day as the wronged couple.  

Rodriguez is most famous for her starring turn in Jane the Virgin, while Jacinto became a star thanks to his role on The Good Place.

Son to Clint Eastwood, Scott has enjoyed roles in Pacific Rim: Uprising as well as 2016’s Suicide Squad.

I Want You Back is being written by This Is Us showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger.

Joining the exciting ensemble is veteran actress Jamie Gertz of The Lost Boys fame.
