Drew Barrymore tears up as she gets special birthday tribute from daughters Olive, 8, and Frankie, 6

She’s a single mom to daughters Frankie and Olive.

And on Monday, Drew Barrymore was moved to tears when her little girls wished her a happy birthday during a very special episode of her daytime chat show.

As guest host Savannah Guthrie announced Olive, eight, and Frankie, six, had taped a message for their mom, Drew gasped, put her hands up to her face and teared up.

The girls narrated a short animated clip in which they appeared as cats.  

‘Hi, Mom! Olive and I wanted to send you a special message on your birthday, so here it goes,’ Frankie began.

They then recited their tribute to the former child star and actress who turned 46 on Monday.  

‘We love you more than squirrels and pearls, or eating cheese in the breeze,’ the girls said.

Frankie then concluded: ‘There’s only one thing left to say. You’re the best mom in the world. Happy birthday!’

Drew shares her daughters with ex-husband Will Kopelman from whom she split in 2016 after four years of marriage.

The two have been amicably co-parenting Olive and Frankie ever since.

It wasn’t the only time Drew got emotional during the special episode of The Drew Barrymore Show.

Several of her very famous friends from her four-decade Hollywood career also sent birthday greetings or stopped by the taping.   

Cameron Diaz, Steven Spielberg and David Letterman all surprised Drew on the show, dropping in to reminds her of some of her most unforgettable moments.

‘Let’s get the party started,’ shouted Diaz as she kicked off the celebrations.  

Letterman appeared in the studio in-person, shocking the 40 First Dates actress and, a little overwhelmed, she hid her hand behind her face.

Others taking part in the show airing Monday included Jimmy Fallon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Chelsea Handler, Henry Winkler, Tyra Banks, Molly Shannon, Tom Green, Nicole Richie, Keith Morrison, DJ D-Nice, Gordon Ramsay and Chloe Fineman.
